Junction Ranch was the historical name of a Ranch that one stood in the vicinity of Golden Gate Canyon State Park. Before the tunnels connecting Golden to Central City were commissioned along what is now CO Highway 6, Golden Gate Canyon was the primary route that prospectors used to access the gold rich mines.
